ok, i've gotten this hint a couple times, and i've read the rules over 5 times now because of this. Are we seriously allowed only in one place at once? It didn't say anything even about that in the rules, and i personally think it should just be a prefrence of the rper.

Yes, you can only RP in one place at once. If you were to be in more than one place with the same character, it would get really confusing. I know of a Kingdom Hearts RPG that has done this, and personally, I think it may not have been a good idea.

maybe you should put that in the rules then. i might have not joined then. so you have one thread for each character?

Actually, you can have as much of your character in the same thread. However, you shouldn't have the same character in more than one thread, that's the detail.
After all, it would be weird if with that said character would go in another thread with another character, and that said character is already there with someone else.
Get my point?
About adding that as a rule, I've already sent a PM to Mimi.

I am only using logic to explain things right now.
For example, Regan can't be in Quebec(Real World) and in File City(Digital World) at the same time, right? Unless he has a clone or twin or some instant teleporting ability, he can't indeed be at those two places at the same time.
He could however, leave a thread in Quebec to go to File City(going to the Digital World through a Digi-Port obviously). Of course, I'll make sure to notify that my character has left the thread.
Now, do you understand?

yeah, but its not like whereever your character is that if they're in another place its at the exact same time. in some situations, it can get weird, but its easier than sitting while you wait for someone whos not ever going to reply to reply. whatever. i'll just try to follow it.

if that happens then i should think either a admin or mod take over the character long enough get you out of the thread r something along those lines.

See, it would become confusing when we begin our main plot, because certain events would happen in certain threads, but threads that happened before the events would still be going on. Say Mimi and Matt were just taking a nice relaxing walk in the Digital World, right? So, in another thread, Mimi, Matt, and the rest of the Digidestined could be battling some type of evil Greymon or something. After the second thread is finished, the first one would seem to go on indefinately, because a main event already happened, and the confusing part would be deciding whether or not Mimi and Matt in the first thread knew about the Greymon or not. I see this probably doesn't make a lot of sense, but RPing in more than one place can end up just this confusing. Another point, is that what if you are involved in a thread with someone say just hanging out. But in another thread, the same person is in there, and they are asked to send for you or something even if they are already in the other thread with you. It would just be confusing and wouldn't be helpful for new members and whatnot. Do not leave the site though.. I still think it is quite nice.

whatever. fine. make it that way. i wish you would've had it that way from the start instead of it ending up like this.

Well, it's fairly obvious that no one is perfect, and Mimi was a bit forgetful, nor she had expected everything in her rules.
Sooner or later, there may perhaps be other problems, but we'll just have to solve them instead of whining about them.

I apologize for your anger, but as WarKiller said, it slipped my mind. It is not as if we are just 'making it that way' because of what you did, we had stated it plenty of times before, and I figured that was enough to make sure people knew, so I somewhat forgot to put it into the rules. That is what suggestions are for. You say how you feel, and you leave it. You do not have to continuously whine about something that has been one way from the start. I honestly don't see the big deal though.. I think the limit of characters is three, and I think that is plenty enough to have a ton of roleplaying going on. Heck, I think one is enough! Sorry for that rant, but.. I dunno. I guess it got me angry a bit. I apologize.

i'm sorry if i came across as angry, i was just annoyed that people were explaining it to me in a way that made me feel like a little kid. i'm sorry if i upset anyone, its just that sites that have that kind of rule are few and far between, and the ones that do have it don't back it up the way you do, and now i understand why you have it that way. i'm sorry. i will not bother anyone anymore. nice knowing everyone.
